The Two-Square Identity

I just learned that

(a sum of two squares) x (a sum of two squares) = (a sum of two squares)

More specifically

(a squared + b squared) x (c squared  + d squared) = (ac - bd) squared + (ad + bc) squared

I thought that was cool.
